Mac Slavo
Markets are not even remotely prepared for this… Trump doesn’t realize that this problem he is inheriting is a thousand times greater than anything he ever imagined… this is a monster.

Here’s How the Deep State Is Trying to Lead Trump into a Nuclear War

Daniel Lang
Hopefully brighter minds will prevail, because whoever is proposing this notion of limited nuclear conflict, needs to change out their dress uniform for a freaking straight jacket.

Man in Hiding Confesses to Illegal Fundraising for the Clintons: “Fears Untimely Death”

Mac Slavo
The pattern continues… Those who are connected to the crimes and misdemeanors of the Clinton crime cartel live in hiding for fear of their lives. Of course there was funneling of money going on. The Wikileaks and Guccifer 2.0 hacks went along way in documenting the quid pro quo nature of Clinton diplomacy. Back in […]

Warning Sign: The Last Time This Happened In Stock Markets An Epic Crash Followed

Mac Slavo
We are quite literally at a point where major banks and analysis firms are justifying excessive corporate valuations with “animal spirits” as a driving force.

CAN CANADA GET OUT OF THE WAR BUSINESS?

Canada is becoming a major weapons dealer, a reliable accomplice in U.S. wars, and a true believer in “humanitarian” armed peacekeeping as a useful response to all the destruction fueled by the weapons dealing. William Geimer’s Canada: The Case for Staying Out of Other People’s Wars is an excellent antiwar book, useful to anyone seeking to understand or abolish war anywhere on earth. But it happens to be written from a Canadian perspective of possibly particular value to Canadians and residents of other NATO countries, including being valuable right now as Trumpolini demands of them increased investment in the machinery of death.

THE EUROPEAN DEBT BOMB FUSE IS LIT!

Vast liabilities are being switched quietly from private banks and investment funds onto the shoulders of taxpayers across southern Europe. It is a variant of the tragic episode in Greece, but this time on a far larger scale, and with systemic global implications. There has been no democratic decision by any parliament to take on these fiscal debts, rapidly approaching €1 trillion. They are the unintended side-effect of quantitative easing by the European Central Bank, which has degenerated into a conduit for capital flight from the Club Med bloc to Germany, Luxembourg, and The Netherlands.

MYSTERY RADIATION ‘CLOUDS’ MAY POSE RISK TO AIR TRAVELLERS

Danger zones in the air where radiation levels surge could pose an unrecognised health hazard. Airliners may have to avoid these in future, just as they do with volcanic ash clouds, to minimise any risk to travellers and crew. We have long known that high-altitude flight exposes us to cosmic rays. The radiation dose on a flight from London to Tokyo is roughly equivalent to a chest X-ray.

FIGHTING IN DONBASS, COAL BLOCKADE, AND INFIGHTING IN KIEV, AS UKRAINE’S CRISIS DEEPENS

The last few weeks have witnessed an acceleration of Ukraine’s downward slide. Following the bitter fighting in and around Avdeevka and the angry telephone exchange between Russian President Putin and German Chancellor Merkel, an attempt was made to bring the fighting in the area around Avdeevka to an end and to arrange for a mutual pullback of forces to the starting lines.

EU LAWMAKERS CALL FOR ‘FEDERAL UNION’ OF EUROPEAN STATES

The leaders of the lower chambers of parliament of Germany, Italy, France, and Luxembourg have called for a European “Federal Union” in an open letter published in Italian newspaper La Stampa on Sunday. In the letter, four representatives of EU governments – Claude Bartolone of the French National Assembly, Laura Boldrini of the Italian Chamber of Deputies, Norbert Lammert of the German Bundestag, and Mars Di Bartolomeo of the Luxembourg Chamber of Deputies – say that closer cooperation is essential for dealing with problems that no one EU state can tackle on its own, such as immigration, terrorism, and climate change.

MARIJUANA INDUSTRY PROJECTED TO CREATE MORE JOBS THAN MANUFACTURING BY 2020

Jobs. That is what the marijuana industry hopes will keep the Trump administration from cracking down on cannabis companies. A new report from New Frontier Data projects that by 2020 the legal cannabis market will create more than a quarter of a million jobs. This is more than the expected jobs from manufacturing, utilities or even government jobs, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The BLS says that by 2024 manufacturing jobs are expected to decline by 814,000, utilities will lose 47,000 jobs and government jobs will decline by 383,000. This dovetails with data that suggests the fastest-growing industries are all healthcare related.

JOHN MCCAIN CUTS OFF REPORTERS WHO ASK ABOUT THE $1 MILLION DONATION FROM THE SAUDIA ARABIAN GOVERNMENT TO HIS BOGUS MONEY-LAUNDERING NON-PROFIT MCCAIN INSTITUTE

Sen. John McCain on Friday cut off questions from reporters about a $1 million donation by the government of Saudi Arabia to a non-profit that bears McCain's name. McCain denied that he had any link to the McCain Institute for International Leadership, which was founded in 2012 at Arizona State University with a $9 million gift of leftover cash from McCain's 2008 presidential campaign.

FMR IMF CHIEF SENT TO JAIL AS SPAIN PROSECUTES 65 ELITE BANKERS IN ENORMOUS CORRUPTION SCANDAL

In many other countries, excluding the United States, corrupt bankers are often brought to task by their respective governments. The most recent example of a corrupt banker being held accountable comes our of Spain, in which the former head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Rodrigo Rato was sentenced to four years and six months behind bars. According to the AFP, Spain’s National Court, which deals with corruption and financial crime cases, said he had been found guilty of embezzlement when he headed up Caja Madrid and Bankia, at a time when both groups were having difficulties.

IS THAT DESPERATION HANGING OVER EUROPE’S BANKING SYSTEM?

Many of Europe’s and America’s biggest banks have begun begging, cap in hand, for a new, innovative way of raising vast sums of dirt-cheap debt on Europe’s financial markets. The Association for Financial Markets in Europe (AFMA), an organization that prides itself on serving as “the voice of Europe’s wholesale financial markets,” just sent a strongly worded letter to the European Central Bank, urging for the prompt creation of EU-wide regulation allowing banks to sell a newfangled class of bail-in-able debt called “senior non-preferred bonds.”

AMERICA'S FENTANYL CRISIS "IS SURGING, WITH NO END IN SIGHT"

Having surpassed gun homicides for the first time in 2015, the epidemic of heroin and opioid related deaths in the US continues to grow. Amid the dismal failure of the 'war on drugs', it seems US lawmakers are finally waking up to reality, and are pressing the nation’s drug czar for more data on the dangerous synthetic opioid fentanyl, including how it is trafficked and how many people it has killed, in the latest effort to thwart a spiraling drug crisis.

THE U.S. NUCLEAR ENERGY DREAM IS DYING

The United States was once a projected leader in the nuclear energy race. In the 20th century, the world dreamed of finding a way to provide safe, cheap, and renewable energy, and nuclear power seemed to be the manifestation of those dreams. All of this, however, seems to be coming to an end. This past week, Toshiba decided to sell its American nuclear power subsidiary at a $6 billion loss. Westinghouse Electric Company, an American company that Toshiba acquired 10 years ago, is in the business of building and constructing nuclear power facilities. This isn’t the first time that Toshiba attempted to offload controlling interest in Westinghouse – all previous efforts, however, have failed.
